Best scenery - relaxed run for all levels
Uneven pavements ! Great scenery
The start needs to be done by run times, the pavements are very uneven and dangerous when everyone goes at the same time which led runners to run in the road. Running on the coast was lovely though.
Also needs chip timing which could be incorporated with staggered start times. Would have paid extra for it.
Nice little 10k on flat course by the sea.
Nice flat course.
Chip timing would be good.
Ditch the plastic bottles and cups.
A medal that said 'Lancing' would be nice.
Not much siupport from marshals and the focus was on winners at end.
Lovely course, the start line was unclear and I was surprised thete was no chip timing
Good starting 10k Run
I think with some more traction, this will be a better race to run in the future.
Only problem is the bottle-necking of runners after turning from the Green to the seafront as the beginning of the race.
I enjoyed the morning and would run this one again.
Maybe an option to offer timing plates for the medals, which be a nice touch.
Pleasant enough but not particularly well organised, although the marshalls were good. The event doesn't add much to the local race calendar in terms of route or atmosphere, but I appreciate it's small and low-key.
The event was fairly old-school in its organisation which I didn't mind, although it's unsual not to have chip timing these days. Much of the course was right next to a road and along a shared promenade, although as a smaller event the latter wasn't a huge issue. The medal was generic and a bit disappointing. The event is fine for someone who wants to run a 10k but there are much better events you can do on the Sussex coast. I won't be rushing back to do it again.

Same feedback as I gave last year!….
A lovely seafront front run, friendly volunteers around the route, and it’s nice and flat with a great scenery
My only constructive feedback would be that it would have been great to have a chip time and a bit more of a start/ finish marker with the time displayed. Shame the medal didn’t details that it was the Lancing 10k and the year, However on the whole a thoroughly enjoyable event - thank you.
Great Event
It would be good to have chip timing, distance markers and a few photographers along the route.
Not a bad 10k for a first time.
Chip timing would have been great
Very friendly
Excellent location for both pre and post run for spectators
Scenic run
Nor chipped as advertised also to late a start for a shared path and promenade event. It was fortunate the poor wet weather prior to the start probably kept many dog walkers/cyclists away.
Start, finish could be better and if chipped why not have 2 start phases and let the over 70 minutes start a half hour before as I felt for the slower runners out on their own way after elite.
Marshall’s were very good, friendly and helpful.
At time of writing cannot see age category placing.
Really enjoyed
Not time chipped as advertised
A tad disappointed that it was not time chipped like it was advertised so am glad I used Strava which happened to make it 6.3 miles! Only one water stop on route. And it’s a shame the medal does not have that it was lancing 10k it was just generic. Was a good price but not sure I would do it again
Nice friendly staff, great scenary and fun event
What a lovely easy run with normal runners as well as the faster crowd
Efficiently organised, easy parking and fab scenery.
A good run - informal but efficiently organised.
Small & friendly, well organise event.
Great cafe next to the start / finish line.
A pleasant day out on a dry day.
Someone was trying to make some announcements at the start which could not be heard. He needs to have some form of PA system.
Disorganised
Event was described as chip timed, there was no chip. The start line was a spray painted line on the ground. There were no KM markers. The water stop on route was given in plastic bottles and only on one side of the course. The medal is nice enough but generic, nothing to say it was Lancing or date. There was no stand at the end with water, it was only after I was walking back to the car I noticed someone with big water bottles and cups.
The marshalls were very friendly.
A lovely seafront front, friendly volunteers around the route, and it’s nice and flat with a great scenery
My only constructive feedback would be that it would have been great to have a chip time and a bit more of a start/ finish marker with the time displayed. However on the whole a thoroughly enjoyable event - thank you.
