friendly and straight forwardAny other notes?
These events are ideal times for organisers to join with companies - companies can advertise their merch or food stuffs by offering free samples and runners get to enjoy a goody bag and give more kudos to the organisers.
Nice small raceAny other notes?
Lovely flat route, friendly marshalls & volunteers.Any other notes?
A tech t-shirt would've been nice. I'd happily pay a few pound more to receive one rather than a cotton one :-)
Very easy going and non hassley.Any other notes?
Was the distance correct?
A scenic 2 lapper around the lake in a country park.Any other notes?
I don't think that it was measured very accurately as we all had 6.4 miles on our watches.
It was my fiorst ever 10K and I really enjoyed taking part and will consider doing again :)Any other notes?
the run measured a little long, also awaiting confirmation of our times.Any other notes?
Great dayAny other notes?
Maybe an extra water station half way round the lake. Some kind of rebate for parking fee
Deceiving Tough Course Set Amidst Great SceneryAny other notes?
Good marshalling throughout the course; all were very encouraging and friendly. Great scenery and venue for future 10k events. I felt the beginning with the guy on the bike was a bit amateurish - it's difficult to be too critical as he meant well and was trying to help. For future events, I'd either incorporate a local runner to lead the way, perhaps giving someone free entry and/or place arrows/markers. Also, felt that the signage for the registration was non-existent. If you've not been to the venue before, signage can make a difference. The event itself was good value for money and had a less formal feel, which I liked.
Beautiful place to run . Lots of activities to make a day of it . Thoroughly enjoyed the race . Well organised and friendly marshals.Any other notes?
Bit amatuerAny other notes?
Was over 10km by a good 250m!
Loved itAny other notes?
More advertising so more people get involved. A lot of people I know knew nothing. About it
good mostly flat course with marshals at regular intervals, good run.Any other notes?
Bit disappointed that I bought a t shirt when I signed up for the race over a month ago, which I've still not received. Since going on the website closer to the event the race and t shirt price has reduced. Not that I mind what I paid, just disappointed that I'm now having to chase this when I could have worn the t shirt to the event which is why I purchased one
Good overall eventAny other notes?
It would have nice to have the medals and t-shirts set out
Didn't attract enough runnersAny other notes?
The run uphill on wet grass towards the end of each round was not comfortable and bordered on cross-country. Didn't like this.
